Celebrate the grand opening of Avon’s Fieldstone Preserve, hosting a nature trail that starts and ends at D.W. Field Park.

Schedule of Events:

9:00 - 10:00 AM: Ribbon Cutting & Awards Ceremony
Join guest speakers from the Town of Avon, the City of Brockton, the State of Massachusetts, Wildlands Trust, and Old Colony Planning Council for a ribbon cutting and awards ceremony to learn about completed and future projects at the park.

10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Educational Table with Refreshments
Learn about the D.W. Field Park Initiative with staff from Wildlands Trust and Old Colony Planning Council.

10:15 & 11:15 AM: Guided Hikes
Walk the new nature trail at Fieldstone Preserve with Wildlands Trust staff.

Event Location:

The new Fieldstone Preserve trailhead is located inside D.W. Field Park, at the parking area on the west side of Waldo Lake.

Parking:

Before 10 am: D.W. Field Park main entrance on Oak St. (15-minute walk to event site).

After 10 am: Park gates open, parking is available throughout the park.
